While visiting Alva this week, we had the opportunity to tour NWOSU’s campus. Featured on our 2012 Most Endangered Places list, Science Hall/Fall Arts Building/Ryerson Hall is in wonderful shape! Built in 1909 in the Jacobethan Revival style, it is the oldest building remaining on the campus. It was designed by renowned architect, Solomon Andrew Layton.

The campus has a wonderful variety of early 20th and mid-century buildings. Make sure to visit next time you are in Alva.
